Our shop teacher, Brian Kuntz, entered for the Harbor Freight shop class grant. He was awarded $1,000 at Harbor Freight for making the semifinals. The picture shows all the new tools bought with the money.

Dexter 7th grader, Braden Mugler competed in the inaugural Science of Agriculture challenge on the Kstate Campus and won first place along with his two team members from Burden!

The 4th graders have been learning about igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. The past couple of weeks students have brought in rocks they have found. Today they got to investigate and classify rocks based on what they have learned!
