Due to miserable weather conditions today's scheduled junior high track meet at West Elk is being postponed and is rescheduled for Tuesday, April 17.
Congratulations to the Dexter 8th Grade Choir on receiving the highest rating of 1 for their performance of Grant Us Peace by Michael Scott at the SCBL Music Festival on March 28th. We are very thankful to the festival organizers and Cowley College for hosting the event. Great work, 8th Grade!

This site will allow the district to accept online payments for lunches, enrollments, fees, projects, etc...! The district will also be able to accept payment with a debit card or in person at the high school office, concession stands, etc...Our hope is that this will provide a time saving solution for families to make payments with a credit or debit card. Dexter High School After Prom 2018 will be held on Saturday April 7th following the Casino Royale themed prom. The after prom even will be sponsored by the sophomore parents. All students attending after prom and their dates must be at the Dexter High School old gym by 12:30 am. Each student and their date attending must have a parent/student signed permission form turned into the DHS office by Thursday, March 29th. This will be a fun night of games and prizes for all who attend. Breakfast will be served and students dismissed roughly at 5:30 am. (USD #471 has no affiliation with the after prom, this is driven and put on by parents. USD #471 wishes to thank them for their efforts to provide a safe environment for our students on this night!)
